Sino-German Initiative Essay Competition
The Sino-German Initiative Essay Competition challenges young leaders around the world to share their vision for the future of collaboration between China and Germany. Two winning authors will receive a fully funded scholarship to participate in the forthcoming One Young World Summit which takes place in Munich, Germany from 22nd - 25th July, 2021.
Essay submissions will be accepted until 30th April, 2021
Eligibility criteria e.g.
Nationals or residents of Germany or China, aged 18 – 30, young leaders able to offer strong insights into the future of Sino-German relations based on their professional or academic experience

engages business, academic and other leaders of society to shape the Sino-German agenda through economic, technological and cultural exchange. SGI will allow for a constant dialogue between the two countries to promote commercial trade, to spur research & development, and to tackle global issues with an open-minded and multilateral approach, providing for more stability and understanding, particularly, in times of crisis.
