Subject:
The first public session of the working group Sino-German Corporate Communications will bring some fascinating insights from Alibaba and bilibili on activating consumers in China and turning them into your brand messenger. Keynote speaker Ningxin Wu, expert of integrated marketing in China, will share her experience on how creative content and social media have dominated the marketing landscape in China and blurred the lines between B2B and B2C marketing. Ningxin will share her unique insights of her work at Alibaba and bilibili and show how participants of an event can become the broadcaster of a brand by integrating technologies and digital installations.

Besides the exciting keynote from Ningxin, we will also kick-off the Sino-German Corporate Communications working group with a joint discussion on topics and content this working group would like to focus on in the future.  

Profile: Ningxin Wu
Ningxin Wu is an expert of integrated marketing and the Head of Marketing of bilibli’s music label CHEERS. Educated in China and Germany, she started her career at the headquarter of the trade fair organizer Messe Düsseldorf as a management trainee and worked her way up to Project Director in Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai. In 2017 she grasped the chance of joining Alibaba as Expert PMO Marketing and expanded her profile into integrated marketing. From 2017 to 2021, Ningxin has led and executed Alibaba’s global events including the CES (2018 & 2019), The Olympic Games (Pyeongchang and Tokyo), The Double 11 Festival and The Cloud Computing Conference. In 2021, Ningxin has taken up the new challenge at bilibili, a platform similar to YouTube, which is the most popular platform among GenZ in China. Her role there is to promote talented musicians.

Sino-German Corporate Communications
Knowing and understanding your target groups is key to a successful communication concept. Germany and China show huge differences in communication styles and expectations. In the last decade China developed itself to become a leading player in E-commerce and Digitalization. Not just the tools with which people are communicating are different but also the way of communicating and the speed of communication! The CNBW Working Group Sino-German Corporate Communications offers opportunities to learn more about every aspect of good communications; from offline to online, whether trade fairs, digital marketing, traditional media, internal communications or big campaigns, through keynote speakers and personal conversations of communication professionals and management members.
