Januar 2023 führt die chinesische Regierung die "Einordnung und Behandlung der Coronavirus-Infektionen als Kategorie B der Infektionskrankheiten" ein und implementiert vorläufige Maßnahmen für den Personalverkehr zwischen China und dem Ausland. Eight countries have already achieved net-zero emissions

(23.12.2022) Global action to combat climate change has prompted a wave of national commitments to reach net zero: The US and many others are targeting 2050, with countries like China and India decades later. But a handful of 'carbon sink' countries already have their emissions in check - according to the World Economic Forum.

World University Rankings 2023

(23.12.2023) The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 include 1.799 universities across 104 countries and regions, making them the largest and most diverse university rankings to date. The University of Oxford tops for the seventh year. Harvard remains second. Mainland China has the fourth-highest number of institutions in top 200 (11, compared with 10 last year).

International cargo relay reduces costs and carbon footprint

(20.12.2022) Until 31 December 2024, foreign-, Hong Kong- and Macao-flagged vessels are allowed to carry out international cargo relay at Yangshan Port in Shanghai for containers originating from or destined for Dalian, Tianjin and Qingdao. It is a significant policy breakthrough and will provide greater flexibility for carriers to optimise their networks, thereby reducing both transit times and fuel consumption.
