Im aktuellen SCM Journal List Ranking erreicht die WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (Vallendar und Düsseldorf) den 9. Platz der Hochschulen, die empirische Forschung im Supply Chain Management (SCM) betreiben. Sie ist damit seit 7 Jahren in Folge die forschungsproduktivste SCM-Forschungseinrichtung außerhalb der USA. (Im Bereich Operations Management ist Liji Shen engagiert. Jiachun Lu ist eine der Assistent Professors.) Platz 16: Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Platz 34: City University of Hong Kong; Platz 49: Beijing Institute of Technology sowie Nanyang Technology University.

Alicia García Herrero (Chief Economist Asia Pacific, Natixis) - Article for Bertelsmann Stiftung: "The unprecedented sanctions imposed on Russia in the wake of its invasion of Ukraine are likely to have devastating consequences for its economy and beyond. How devastating, though, depends on several factors, starting with how porous such sanctions might end up being. The elephant in the room regarding Russia’s ability to bypass or, at very least, mitigate the sanctions is China."

Auslandsmesseprogramme des Bundes 2023
Die Bundesministerien für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) und für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (BMEL) unterstützen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem AUMA deutsche Unternehmen bei der Teilnahme an Messen im Ausland, darunter die Interzum Guangzhou (Möbelproduktion etc.), die China Fashion Fair (Shanghai) und die Semicon (Shanghai), alle im März 2023.

EU counters dumped imports of graphite electrodes from China
On 7th April 2022, the European Commission has imposed anti-dumping duties on imports of graphite electrodes from China. These measures follow an investigation which showed that Chinese graphite electrodes were being sold in the EU at significantly dumped prices. EU producers of graphite electrodes were unable to compete with such prices and suffered injury as a result. The measures undertaken by the European Commission protect EU producers from such unfair trade practices.
