The State Council announced the new development plan for China’s tourism sector
during the14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) in a circular on 20th January 2022. China Macro Group (CMG) shared some appraisals and advices.

Einfluss des Sozialkreditsystems auf Unternehmen
Die Studie "Technoregulierung in China: bayerische Unternehmen im Sozialkreditsystem" (Herausgeber: bidt – Bayerisches Forschungsinstitut für Digitale Transformation) hat untersucht, wie große, mittlere, kleine und kleinste in China im SKS klassifiziert und bewertet werden. Fast 9% der Unternehmen haben danach einen negativen Systemeintrag in Form einer Verwaltungsstrafe, der unter Umständen zum Eintrag auf einer schwarzen Liste führen kann.

Reflection on the T7 Inception Conference
From 24 to 26 January 2022, the virtual T7 Inception Conference took place with about 300 participants. On 24 January, the new G7 Sherpa of the German government, Jörg Kukies, State Secretary in the Federal Chancellery, kicked off the conference with a presentation of the priorities of the German G7 presidency for 2022, followed by a discussion with the experts from the think tanks present. Afterwards, five task forces started their work to develop policy proposals for the G7 work streams. In May 2022, at the T7 Summit, the T7 policy proposals will be handed over to the German government.
