In 2020, the company entered the Chinese market by embracing cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) rather than traditional offline retail or costly distributor agreements. Leveraging platforms like Tmall Global and Xiaohongshu (RED), NOU retained full control over product presentation, brand storytelling, and direct customer engagement.

Zum Einkaufsmanagerindex Industrie 7/25 in China

(4.8.2025) Der staatlich erhobene Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) der verarbeitenden Industrie in China gab im Juli auf 49,3 nach (Vormonat: 49,7). Der privat erhobene Caixin PMI für das verarbeitende Gewerbe rutschte mit 49,5 ebenfalls wieder unter die Expansionsschwelle von 50 (Vormonat: 50,4).
